The six inch K-style gutters are the recommended choice for homes in North Florida.
Custom gutters and downspouts are also available, including half round gutter systems. Due to the heavy rainfall events that are common in Florida, a 5 inch gutter isnot usually the best choice. Our 6 “ K-style gutter, will handle almost 50 % more water volume than that of a 5 “ gutter system.
The aluminum gutter thickness is .027″ and includes a baked-on enamel finish. Since we build on site, a continuous gutter is always installed. 3” x 4” aluminum downspouts, with a baked-on enamel finish, are utilized with 6” gutters to effectively handle twice the volume of water as a 2 x 3 inch downspout.
Aluminum splash guards are installed at inside corners as required, to prevent water overflow from valleys.
The gutter attachment to fascia is facilitated by means of a screw-in type aluminum mill finish hanger bracket, installed approximately 24” on center.
If the building has an angled fascia system, wedges will be installed behind gutters to keep gutters level and plumb.

To ensure your siding can withstand significant wind events that are common throughout Florida, 0.046 is the minimum thickness that Neligan recommends.
